EditorialsThe stump provides our family a chance to rant and rave about the various products, goods and services, which were we are not happy with. We are firm believers in the freedom of speech. While standing as an US soldier on foreign soil on a couple of occasions, I looked forward to being a private citizen again and being able to exercise the 1st Amendment. This is one of our greatest privileges as an American Citizen. So here is what we are currently upset about...... HONDA MOTOR COMPANY We purchased a 2001 Honda Accord from Gwinnett Place Honda 3244 Commerce Drive, Atlanta, Georgia 30344, 770-467-8836. There website is here. It is located in Atlanta, Georgia. We have been fairly satisfied by the vehicles performance. However we began to notice the seams were separating in the rear seat. We took the vehicle to Honda of Conyers. After having the 30,000 mile checkup and the brakes replaced, the service manager told us that the seams were separating because of the wear and tear placed upon our car by the car seats. This really got under my skin. We purchased the car, because we wanted a reliable FAMILY vehicle and the word family is all over the place with regards to the Honda Accord. It just seems strange that it is not designed to handle the wear and tear of car seats for 30,000 miles. After spending some time with the service manager, he agreed to fix the seats. We left our car with them for one afternoon. They took the rear seat out of the car and had it re-sown. We have not had any further problems with our family car. Three different individuals from my work have complained about their customer service of various dealerships in the Atlanta area. While I was not super happy with the work, I was adequate. Honestly this has made be reconsider if I want to get another Honda.
